Principal's Message

SVCS Principal

Greetings SVCS Families:

On behalf of the entire staff at Sacramento Valley Charter School, I would like to personally welcome you and your student/s to the new 2026-2027  school year - a year that will be filled with infinitely amazing academic experiences, as well as activities that inspire and challenge students to be their very best.

I am proud to announce that for the 25-26 school year, our students “Exceeded” the State Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics. This accomplishment can only be attributed to our masterful teachers, competent and caring staff, parental commitment, supportive Board members, and the tenacity and determination of our own students. We expect that during the 26-27 school year SVCS students will continue to exceed mastery in all academic domains.

We invite you as parents/guardians to partner with us as we guide your children in their intellectual growth, promote their social and emotional development, and help them demonstrate important character traits such as kindness, integrity, honesty, perseverance, empathy, and respect. Some of the ways you can support our efforts include ensuring that your student comes to school every day on time, maintaining ongoing communication with your child’s teacher, frequently monitoring homework and assignments so that you are apprised of his/her progress, and limiting your child’s screen time at home.

With respect to student attendance, to the greatest extent possible, please schedule appointments, vacations, events, etc. during times that students are not in school. This will ensure uninterrupted learning and continued academic progress.

Please know that I am always open to hear and respond to your concerns, recommendations, and suggestions. I appreciate all you do to support our school and to ensure its continued success!
